Barbara Bockova
Barbara Bockova is a flutist and dedicated music educator, originally from Czechia. She is a graduate of the Pilsen Conservatory of Music, where she honed her skills in flute performance. After completing her studies, Barbara began teaching flute at the School of Performing Arts in Ostrov, while also joining the Karlovy Vary Symphony as a flutist.
Throughout her career, she has performed widely across Czechia as a soloist and chamber musician, earning recognition for her expressive playing and musicality. In 2009, Barbara relocated to Karlovy Vary, where she joined the faculty of the Dvořák School of Performing Arts. There, she continues to teach flute and music theory, inspiring a new generation of musicians with her passion and expertise.
